Romeo's perfect song about Juliet

Image
Romeo, a Montague whom had fallen into sadness after multiple heartbreaks, seems to have fallen in love at first sight with the enemy of his family. Romeo was skeptical about going to the Capulet feast at first but due to his cousin, Benvolio, urging him to go there to "examine other  beauties" (Act1 scene1 line 236)   he was convinced. And with all the romance going on currently in Act 1 scene 5, both of Romeo and Juliets families ongoing hate is preventing this true love from blossoming even more. Therefore Ricky Montgomery's song Line without a hook  is one way to show how Romeo feels towards Juliet in a song.         In Ricky Montgomery's song, Line without a hook , one of the first couple lines it goes ♪"You can hold my hand/ if no ones home" it's similar to what happened in Act 1 scene 5 in line 104. In these lines both Romeo and Juliet are holding hands and flirting with each other as if the...

St.Lucy's Best Wolf Girl

St.Lucy's Home For Girls Raised By Wolves, is a wonderful story. Well sort of...our "lovely" narrator is selfish and she fits every word that makes a person bad. Claudette, our narrator, was once living in the woods with her siblings only to betray them once she's "human enough" is a disappointing act in itself.  And not only did she have the audacity to ask her older sister Jeanette for help when the only thing she thinks about is "I was only worried about my self" and later on using poor Mirabella as an excuse to get rid of her for "ruining" the party or whatever it was. Which is why Jeanette is the best wolf girl in St.Lucy's, not only is she is the golden child of her siblings, she was smart, caring, and currently being hated on by her own sisters.               While Jeanette is the best wolf girl in St.Lucy's, we had to defend her in our debate. Preparing for the debate was diffi...

Assimilation in American History

If the quote "Make America Great Again!" sounds familiar its from our ever so "lovely" 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump but of course almost everyone knows that. The thing is has America ever been that great? Not counting its golden age but rather the not so smart decisions from previous presidents. America's history of Forced Assimilation doesn't help either, especially when the Indian Removal was placed by Andrew Jackson to remove the "Indians" from their land which lead to the Trail of Tears. Not to mention the residential schools placed by Military General Richard Henry Pratt with the quote "Kill the Indian, Save the Man".            These residential schools would take Native children away from their parents and make them more "civilized", as if their actions weren't disappointing enough. Children in these schools weren't allowed to speak in their native languages, were forced to cut ...

Local Eats

Looking for Places to eat in New York city can get difficult at times maybe you want to try new foods, or you just got bored of staying in one place and ordering food from the restaurant in your area. Exploring can be exciting as you get to go to places you have never been before, and if you know the area you are in why not try some of the food from the restaurants you didn't even know were there because you haven't noticed it. In Roosevelt ave near junction blvd there is a Mexican restaurant that has been there for probably longer than i have ever lived. Going there has always brought memories for me and family as i used to constantly go there, maybe not as much now since we no longer live near there but there are also other restaurants near there to if you don't like the specific type of food although they give a variety of food that's fine, its not like everyone has the same taste in food it's different for everyone.                ...
